Cost: $5 per head (club subsidised), all the usual breakfast fare, egg bacon sausage etc.

Experience the not-so-far wilds of the Canberra region in a beautiful and peaceful riverside setting.
Starting at the café, those travellers in need can partake of a fortifying tea or coffee, and prepare for the journey into the countryside. We will then make our way to our destination, taking your route of choice.
On arrival at the destination, our BBQ trailer will be sizzling with the usual scrumptious brunch fare and the kettle will be ready for that next cuppa of the morning.
Some picnic tables are available on site, along with public toilet facilities.
Starting in Whitlam , we will proceed over Coppins Crossing, admiring the new big beautiful bridge above, and proceed by either a longer scenic route or more directly to Casuarina Sands on the Murrumbidgee
River.
Scenic Route: 35mins – Return to John Gorton Drive, turn right over Coppins Crossing , turn right into Coaldrake Ave thru Denman Prospect, then via Uriarra Crossing to our destination.
Direct Route:19mins - Return to John Gorton Drive, turn right over Coppins Crossing, turning right onto Cotter road and follow to the destination.
